This is not going to be one of my usual articles. There's not going to be a lot of jokes or snappy remarks, and there isn't going to be a lot of politics. This issue is not partisan. It matters not one whit whether you're a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Communist, Capitalist, black, white, gay, straight, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, or any of the other appellations we use to divide ourselves.
This is simply about common sense, and trying to make sense out of a senseless situation.
Sometime before 9:30 am Eastern time, a man named Adam Lanza, 20, decided to kill his mother, then got in his truck and drove two miles to the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut. He then took out a Sig Saur and a Glock, and proceeded to murder 27 people, 18 of whom were small children, before turning a gun on himself.
I don't know what, if any, political affiliation he had. I don't know what his religion was. I don't know if he was gay or straight. All I know is that he was out of his damned mind, and whatever bad things were happening in his life, he decided to take it out on everyone else, including the most defenseless among us.
Almost immediately, people in the media (and no, I am not going back on my word about politicizing this, I'm just reporting the facts) started using this horrific tragedy as a political football, saying that "this is why we need stricter gun control laws." Imbeciles in Hollywood were also quick to jump aboard, Tweeting that same demand over and over. Mia Farrow, Patton Oswalt, Perez Hilton, and of course Michael Moore weighed in with their infinitesimal experience in the real world, declaring that "guns're bad."
So I am going to say a few things now which I think anyone, Democrat or Republican or Independent can agree on.
It is endlessly amusing to listen to the people on the Left in this country bad-mouth Christianity, but then when things don't go their way, they either blame God, or question why He let such-and-such happen. Of course, God-fearing folks on the Right do the same thing, though not to the extent of the Left; the Right questions in a pleading manner, while the Left uses their disappointment as an excuse to deny Him.
Hey, your faith is your own business. You want to believe in God, Christ, Buddha, Zoroaster, Zeus, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster, that's your choice and thank whomever you revere that you live in a country that gives you that freedom. My problem is when such people try to force me to follow THEIR beliefs and ignore my own. It took me a lot of years to figure out what I believe and I've no intention of changing it to suit someone else. And fair is fair; I don't proselytize and try to force people to come to Christ, so don't you dare try to tell me to turn away from Him. MY soul, MY choice.
It was June 2010 when my family and I lost our home in Colorado. We traveled the country for 2 years in a mini van doing side work for extra money and looking for opportunity that would change our lives. During our Journey we had allot of fellow Conservatives reach out to us and help us along the way not expecting anything but to pay it forward when our lives turned around. We sit here now in North Dakota in our new home living 5 hours from the most prosperous place in America. I feel now is the time to do what I was asked to do and that's to pay it forward. We have a situation that we can provide a room for the parents and a room for the kids for a Conservative family that has lost it all because of hurricane Sandy. I have caught allot of hell for only offering Conservatives this opportunity but I personally will not have bring a liberal voter to the State of North Dakota and be a part of ruining this state. The jobs that are 5 hours from here are the highest paying in America and within a few checks that family could be back on their feet with the ability to start over. My goal here is offering this platform to somebody who has the desire to start over fresh and take this opportunity to thrive for their family. The Conservative way is to help each other when we are in need and not rely on the Government to save us. I ask you all to find fellow Conservatives and Veterans and offer a hand up.
I know what its like to lose it all and its my duty as a Conservative to reach out to others like me. Sorry single people I have a family unit here and can only take another family. We don't have much but we are willing to share what we have. ~Rambo

In case the title is a bit too obscure, I'm going to break the cardinal rule of joke-telling and explain it. We all know that Obama has a history of cocaine abuse; he described his penchant for nose candy in his "auto" biography...but now, instead of putting candy up his nose, Candy Crowley is putting her nose up Obama's hindquarters.
Get it now? Dandy. Moving on.
The second debate of this historic election cycle showed us a much more aggressive Obama...one could say he was Biden-esque. As you'll recall, Smirky Joe brought the decorum level of the VP debate all the way down to 6th grader level, with constant interruptions, smirks, laughs, and general disrespect. We wrote it off as Biden being Biden...but I'm starting to think it was planned as a test to see just what Team Obortion could get away with. I think that's why we saw Obama acting like a spoiled child on stage tonight.

December that on October 9, 2007, 11 months before our "economic crisis" occurred (that was actually created), the Dow hit its highest point ever, closing at 14,164.53 and reaching 14,198.10 intra-day level 2 days later.
Unemployment was steady at 4.7%. But things were already being put in place to create the havoc we've all been experiencing since then. And it all started, as this email explains, on January 3, 2007. --LFL
I'm sending this to each of you regardless of your party preferences because I believe it is something you may not have considered.
This tells the story, why Bush was so "bad" at the end of his term.
