As I sat in front of the computer at 1 am, convalescing from whatever God-awful bug that's laying waste to my sinuses, throat, and lungs, I happened to take a peek at my Facebook page. A dear friend of mine (one of the very, very rare friends I have outside of Facebook), a very sweet girl whom I think of as a little sister, has Liked a photo. Now, I know she and I have different ideas about politics, and she is certainly entitled to her opinion...but if this is part of what is forming her opinion, then she is doing so based on outright lies. This article is to clarify things.
The picture is an Obama advertisement, which states:
If you give up on the idea that YOUR VOICE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, then other folks are going to fill the void-the lobbyists, the special interests, the people who are writing $10 million checks, the folks who are trying to keep people from voting, the politicians who want to tell you who you can marry, tell women they can't have control over their own health care choices. ONLY YOU CAN MAKE SURE THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN

As with so many things that come from this regime, the accusations made in this advertisement are more readily attributed to the Democrat and Obama himself than to anyone on the Right. So let's take this by the numbers:
-Lobbyists, special interests, the people who are writing $10 million checks. Obama made a promise when he was campaigning, that he would not allow such people to have a say in his administration. Almost immediately after his inauguration, he filled his cabinet with...lobbyists and special interest people. I grew up like any other typical American. I had a perfectly dysfunctional family and a modest lower middle class childhood. God found me at 8 years old, introduced me to the apparition of the Holy Spirit and went through bouts of church going. I back slid to my full potential most of my life. When I got to my 30's I realized how many lies I had been told my entire life from the "world." Now, most people think of me as arrogant or self righteous. Let me just say, this is just who I am. I speak my mind.
It's sickening to me to see how many people are in such strong delusion, humping the entertainment industry, ass kissing people of higher societal rank, jealously so thick it causes divorce, fucked up, fat, brainless children and a cycle of endless superficial dramas that mean absolutely shit given the true substance of life. Many of you are alarmed at me using the word fucked up and God in the same breath right? Well, if you are one of these people, get over yourself and take the next few minutes to try and not be a hypocrite and listen to my point. I don't waste my time trying to be something I am not. I embrace who I am even with my faults, because God loves me just the way I am. You may as well call yourself a pharisee because that is exactly what they did to Jesus and His disciples. "Ooooh, look! He's sitting with tax collectors!" Ha! Let me get on to my driving point here. Though I just demonstrated that for you.
